John is a bilingual executive with over 25 years of financial & strategic advisory, investment banking, and operations experience which offers an extraordinary viewpoint on improving profitability & cash flow management and accelerating growth through turnaround and restructuring initiatives. He has worked both domestically and internationally across a number of industries including financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate & construction, and high-tech.
John also has a specialty in serving as interim Chief Financial Officer for numerous companies ranging in revenues from $25MM to over $200MM. As CFO he has successfully overseen complex post-merger integrations, completed numerous corporate & financial restructurings as well as capitalizations & recapitalizations, designed and redesigned financial operations, reduced cost structures & cash burn, and directed treasury operations ensure his client’s business viability towards completion of imminent capital placements or long term growth plans.
John began his career at Ernst & Young where he spent most of his 10-year tenure in financial management advisory & strategy consulting. He also worked with IBM Global Services – Global Strategy & Design Services and Gemini Partners (became Redwood Capital Group – a middle market investment banking firm).
John received his Masters of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Bucknell University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and is fluent in Spanish.
